How To Post Your Recordings

Misc. | Administrator @ 12:40 am

It’s easy to post your old Lassiter recordings.  Here’s how you do it…

1.  Send cassettes, CDs or video tapes to;
Bob Lassiter Airchecks
5302 Robinsdale Ln
Austin, TX 78723

We will transfer your tapes to a digital format & mail them back to you along with copies of the digital transfers.  Remember to include your full name & mailing address.  Please email us when you send your tapes in so we know to keep an eye out for them.

2.  Send MP3 or video files via the Internet;
     A.  You can send large files (over 10MB) over the Internet using file transfer services like the ones found here.  Most of these services will let you send a file under 100MB free of charge.  Simply upload your file and a link will be sent to us for download.  Look around and see which one you like the best.    We have had very good results using YouSendIt.com.

     B. You can email smaller files (less than 10MB) to boblassiterairchecks@yahoo.com or myquest@gmail.com.

Please include as much information about your recording as you can, such as dates, guests, topics etc.

3. File Transfer Protocol
Upload your MP3s or video files directly to our server via File Transfer Protocol (or ‘FTP’ for short)Email us with the details of your recordings and we will send you a login & password for access to your own personalized folder on our server. Upload your recordings and we’ll do the rest.

We will try to have your recordings posted within 24 hrs. and will credit your contribution however you wish.

The content of this site is 100% comprised of contributions from fans like you, people with old tapes laying around in a closet or garage.  We started out with less than 2 hrs. of programming and have grown to over five and a half days worth of Lassiter broadcasts in less than 2 years.  No clip or recording is too small.  In the end, it all helps to promote Lassiter’s legacy for future generations & preserves a form of radio seldom heard today.  Archive those old recordings in a ad free setting where they can be experienced the way radio was meant to be…free of charge for everyone.  Please send your old recordings in today!
